Today I cried a single tear
I thought it was for you,
but really it was for me.
The single tear laughed at me
It thought that it was insignificant,
And that it's life was wasted.
I tasted that tear and it was salty
It didn't have a delicate taste,
Nor did the memories of happiness last.
Today I cried a single tear
I realized I don't want to cry anymore,
And I remember that's what giving yourself to others make you do.
